TimeBlock
Terms of Use
These terms describe the rules that apply when you download or use TimeBlock.
1. The service
TimeBlock is a personal planning tool that displays schedules as time blocks and may provide reminders, widgets, notes, location links, and URL links. Features may change as the app evolves.
2. Eligibility
You must be legally able to enter into these Terms. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, use TimeBlock only with permission from a parent or legal guardian when required.
3. License and acceptable use
Subject to these Terms and the applicable App Store rules, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use TimeBlock on Apple devices you own or control.
You may not misuse the app, attempt to defeat its security, use it to violate law or third-party rights, or copy, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, or reverse engineer it except where applicable law expressly permits.
4. Your content and responsibility
You retain responsibility for schedule titles, notes, locations, links, and other content you enter. You represent that you have the right to use that content and that it does not violate law or another person's rights. You are responsible for maintaining device security and appropriate backups.
5. Reminders are not guaranteed
Notification timing and delivery depend on your device, permissions, Focus modes, battery state, operating system, and other factors outside TimeBlock's control. Do not rely on the app for emergencies, medical treatment, safety-critical tasks, legal deadlines, financial obligations, or any situation where a missed reminder could cause harm.
6. Health-related disclaimer
TimeBlock may be useful to people who prefer visual planning, including some people with attention-related challenges, but it is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a substitute for professional care.
7. Apple and third-party services
Location search, maps, browsers, and linked services are provided by Apple or other third parties and may require network access. Their availability, content, and data practices are controlled by those providers. Your use of them is subject to their terms and privacy policies.
These Terms supplement the applicable Apple Standard End User License Agreement and App Store terms. Where those terms apply or conflict, they control to the extent required.
8. Intellectual property
TimeBlock, including its software, visual design, branding, and original content, is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the app or its intellectual property to you.
9. Availability and updates
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features. We do not promise that the app will always be available, error-free, or compatible with every device or future operating-system version.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TimeBlock is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, missed reminders, lost opportunities, or reliance on schedules. Liability that cannot legally be excluded remains limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
12. Termination
You may stop using TimeBlock at any time. Your license ends if you materially violate these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual-property, warranty, and liability provisions, will survive.
13. Changes and applicable law
We may update these Terms when the app or legal requirements change. Updated Terms will be posted here with a revised date. These Terms are governed by applicable law, including any mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence.
