Privacy Policy

1. Information you create

You may create schedule titles, dates and times, color choices, quick labels, reminder preferences, text notes, locations, addresses, coordinates, and URLs. This content is stored locally on your device in the app's private storage and shared app-group storage so that TimeBlock widgets can display your schedule.

We do not receive this content on a TimeBlock-operated server.

2. Information we collect

TimeBlock does not require an account and does not collect personal information, usage analytics, advertising identifiers, diagnostics, or tracking data for the developer. The app's Apple privacy manifest declares no collected data types and no tracking.

3. Apple Maps and network access

Network access is not required for ordinary planning. If you actively use location search, the search text is processed through Apple's MapKit and Apple Maps services to return places and addresses. The TimeBlock developer does not receive those search requests. Apple's handling of that information is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy and the terms applicable to Apple Maps.

When you open a saved location or URL, information necessary to complete that action is passed to Apple Maps, your browser, or another app you choose. Those services process information under their own policies.

4. Notifications and widgets

If you enable reminders, TimeBlock asks iOS for notification permission and schedules local notifications on your device. The developer does not receive notification content. Widgets read schedule information from the same local app-group storage and display it on your Home Screen or Lock Screen according to your system settings.

5. Sharing and sale of data

We do not sell, rent, or share your schedule content with advertisers, data brokers, or analytics providers. Data may be processed by Apple or another app only when you choose a system feature described above, or when required by the operating system and applicable law.

6. Retention, deletion, and backups

Your content remains on your device until you edit or delete it in TimeBlock or remove the app. Because the developer does not hold a server copy, we cannot view, restore, or delete your content remotely. Device backups may include app data according to your Apple and device backup settings; you manage those backups through the relevant system or service.

7. Permissions and your choices

• You can decline or revoke notification permission in iOS Settings.
• You can avoid Apple Maps processing by not using location search.
• You can delete individual schedules and custom labels in the app.
• You can remove locally stored app data by deleting the app, subject to any device backups you control.

8. Security

TimeBlock relies on iOS application sandboxing and device protections to safeguard locally stored data. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so you should avoid putting highly sensitive information in schedule titles or notes.

9. Children's privacy

TimeBlock does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since we do not operate user accounts or a data-collection service, we do not knowingly maintain children's personal information on our servers.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app or legal requirements change. The revised policy will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate in-app or App Store notice when required.
